If you're in the mood for something more fancy with an elegant tough to it, then you can go in for something that has an antique Victorian look about it. Visit your local hardware store and browse through some light fixtures that have a European touch. Many companies have some exquisitely designed fixtures molded in wrought iron or any other metal. With these fixtures, you can have small lights in an encased white frosted glass holder or you can go for colored glass, which will give a colorful glow to your kitchen.
Chandelier cleaning is the removal of dirt, dust, tobacco and other types of stains from chandeliers. Depending on the height of the chandelier, it can be a dangerous undertaking. And depending on the type, it can be a labor-intensive job that involves the removal of hundreds if not thousands of crystal or glass pieces for individual cleaning.
Sometimes all you need is a bit of elbow grease and water to clean stuff. But with exclusive and delicate furniture like crystal chandeliers, there's a little (actually a lot!) more to the cleaning process. Scroll below for an extensive look at a chandelier cleaning procedure.
Fabric wall hangings, large wall carpets, large artwork, decorative frames, etc. can be placed on the walls. However, these pieces should be placed at eye level, to create an illusion of a lower ceiling. Single frames will only get lost on the huge walls. Instead, place a group of paintings, mirrors or other decorative frames in a lovely design on the walls. If you decide to place potted plants, make sure the size of your plants matches the scale of the room.
