One way of assessing your chandeliers quality is with the company that makes it itself. If a certain company is well-known for their high-quality chandelier products, then you can bet that their chandelier has undergone some very rigorous quality control inspections and testings to ensure a quality product. Usually, companies that are of high repute means that their product, from the materials that was used to make it to the actual process of how it was made, is of good quality. You can believe that the companies have inspected their product thoroughly.
Fabric wall hangings, large wall carpets, large artwork, decorative frames, etc. can be placed on the walls. However, these pieces should be placed at eye level, to create an illusion of a lower ceiling. Single frames will only get lost on the huge walls. Instead, place a group of paintings, mirrors or other decorative frames in a lovely design on the walls. If you decide to place potted plants, make sure the size of your plants matches the scale of the room.
If you love collecting wine bottles, you can use them to create a unique centerpiece that's sure to evoke a positive reaction from your guests. This type of design is great for homes with a modern-day feel or contemporary design. If you live in an urban apartment, a wine bottle chandelier lights up your dining room best.
Elegant Foyer with Sparkling ChandelierHere I will start with my favorite lighting option - the sparkling chandeliers! If you are one of those lucky people who have a high, wide and large foyer, add a beautiful chandelier, right in the middle of the roof. Choose from crystal, metallic or wrought iron chandelier, depending upon the rest of your home dcor. Add a few decorative table lamps to the foyer too, as they will fill out the large space and make it look beautiful. On the other hand, for those of you who have a small foyer in their house, recessed lighting and wall sconces are a good option. The best thing about recessed lighting is that it illuminates the space without giving the impression of consuming or occupying it. That's why, a small foyer seems a bit wide if recessed lighting is used in it.
