Leave your chandelier to drip dry (this is where the drop cloth comes in handy!), which may take a few hours. If you feel that your chandelier is too dirty for this cleaning method (meaning that the dust will just be left streaky instead of completely removed), you can wash each individual crystal with the isopropyl alcohol and water solution.
To get started with it, decide the location where you want to install it, and remove the current fixture to replace it with the new one. As it involves disconnecting the electric wiring, switch off the main circuit controlling the room's electricity.
You will also want to clean your chandeliers at least twice a year with a vinegar and water solution or mild, soapy water. Do not use harsher chemicals or abrasives or you will risk damaging your beautiful lighting choice. Again, depending on location and other factors, you may find yourself needing to deep clean your crystal chandelier as often as once every couple of months to keep it sparkling.
